Three technical conference streams | One regional meeting place
The Asia Defence Expo & Conference Series (ADECS) returns to Singapore for its fourth edition on 4-5 February 2020.
ADECS is a leading defence event focused specifically on trends and opportunities within the Asia Pacific region, across three specialist sectors:
- Electronic Warfare
- Military Simulation and Training
- Maritime and Undersea Defence Technology
The 2020 event website will launch shortly. In the meantime, scroll down for key information about the event.
About the show
ADECS attendees can choose from three conference streams, each featuring a progressive technical agenda packed with world-leading speakers from industry, academic, government and military domains.
Electronic Warfare Asia, produced by the Association of Old Crows, is the region’s leading sector-specific event and will once again operate a standalone two-day programme. In a revised format for 2020, the UDT and MilSim conference streams will unite for plenary presentations before breaking into separate interactive sessions including discussion groups, roundtables and case studies.
Complementing these technical forums, ADECS also features an exhibition inviting 50 of the region’s leading vendors to share their expertise and display current product and service solutions.
Find out more about each conference stream below.
Electronic Warfare Asia
Advancing Electromagnetic Operations in the Asia Pacific Region
Participants at this, the fourth AOC event in Singapore, will hear from world-leading experts across the military, government, academia and industry. The event will help attendees to progress their understanding of the issues, technology and capabilities that underpin improving their national EM abilities, that is, to advance them both nationally and in collective Asia Pacific defence.
Undersea Defence Technology Asia
Developing Undersea Operational Capabilities
Drawing inspiration from the 2018-2022 ASEAN-EU Plan of Action, UDT Asia 2020 will focus on the key areas of UUV capabilities, waterway management, and transborder cooperation. Using a highly interactive format, the conference offers senior regional officials the opportunity to discuss deployment requirements and multilateral solutions in a relaxed setting.
Military Training and Simulation Asia
Advanced Training Solutions to Defend Tomorrow’s Asia
Using the latest case studies, MilSim Asia will examine the best techniques and technologies available for integrated man-machine training in the Asia Pacific. From immersive environments and xR programmes to modelling HADR, the interactive format enables regional representatives to share effective approaches and applications of the newest training platforms.
